In February 2023, I joined the group of Tassos Perrakis as a PhD Candidate. During my project, I am studying proteins that are involved in cell division, such as mitotic kinases and the kinetochore-associated protein Spindly. I aim to understand their role in mitosis from a structural perspective, which allows to unravel how their dysregulation can lead to cancer.
