Main tasks of the department:
- Supporting our Research staff in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad gamma of different research-related contracts, from Material- or Data Transfer Agreements (MTA/DTA) to Consortium Agreements for large collaborative research projects involving multiple academic and industry partners
- Development of budgets for clinical studies and drafting, review & negotiation of clinical study contracts
- Protection and valorization of the intellectual property that has been developed within the Institute
- Contract archiving and management of the Institute’s license portfolio
- Enabling consultancy by our staff through the establishment of consultancy contracts
- Management of equity in our spin-off companies
