Internships preferably run for 6 to 9 months, as students become part of our ongoing research program. We do not advertise specific internship projects — instead, we encourage you to explore our website and discover what our research groups are working on. If a group's research sparks your interest and you have some basic research experience (from a Bachelor's internship, for example), we invite you to reach out to the group leader directly. Send your motivation letter and CV, and if there is a suitable project available, they will get back to you.
Students completing a compulsory internship at the NKI receive an internship allowance in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Hospitals (CAO Ziekenhuizen).
