Flow Cytometry
Flow cytometry is a powerful technique which allows single cell multi-parameter assessment of protein expression level. The technology is excellently suited for applications that require high throughput , but also allows sensitive measurements of small samples from a wide variety of biological tissues.
The ability to also isolate specific (live) cell subsets from these heterogeneous samples puts the facility in the center of many experiments that are performed in our institute.

Services at this facility
Single cell analysis and cell isolation from heterogeneous samples
Our current analytical equipment offers NKI investigators the opportunity to perform multi-parameter flow cytometry for numerous different applications and assays.
Cells of interest can subsequently be isolated from the heterogeneous sample. The existing equipment allows for identification of cells with up to 18 fluorescent labels and collection of 1 to 6 different (live) cell populations simultaneously.
