Daan van der Meer

In January 2020, Daan started as a PhD student in the group of Winette van der Graaf and Olga Husson. The projects he works on focus on the long-term epidemiological trends of first and second primary cancers in adolescents and young adults, diagnosed in the Netherlands at age 15-39 years. The aim of these projects is to increase knowledge on this topic and understudied population in order to improve health care outcomes and the care received by these individuals.
