Daan van der Meer

In January 2020, I started as PhD-student in the group of Winette van der Graaf and Olga Husson. Projects I will work on during my three-year PhD trajectory will focus on the long-term epidemiological trends of first and second primary cancers in adolescents and young adults, diagnosed in the Netherlands at age 15-39 years. The aim of these projects is to increase knowledge on this topic and understudied population in order to improve health care outcomes and the care received by these individuals.
