Annual dinner for female NKI groupleaders and professors

Last night the annual dinner for female NKI groupleaders and professors took place. Led by Drs. Marien van der Meer - Board of Directors The Netherlands Cancer Institute - the aim of the dinner is to bring female leadership to the attention and to inspire each other.

Dr. Floor van Leeuwen won the 17^th Rosalind E. Award for Women in Science from the US National Cancer Institute;
Prof. Regina Beets is the first female president of the women European Society of Oncological Imaging;
Dr. Karin de Visser is the first female member of the Oncode Research Management Committee;
Prof. Gemma Kenter gives her valedictorian speech as professor of gynecological oncology on December 7^th.
