The Bergman group investigates gene regulation in prostate cancer, where the androgen receptor plays a pivotal role. Moreover, the research group studies the role of the tumor microenvironment in prostate cancer development and progression. The ultimate goal of their studies is to identify mechanisms of disease progression and resistance to therapy, which enables us to develop more effective and personalized therapeutic approaches.
