In 2015, I obtained my PhD from Uppsala University from Prof. Maria Selmer’s group as a structural biologist.

After that, I came to NKI to continue my research in Prof. Titia Sixma’s group as a postdoc follow. My main goal is to study the role of ubiquitination in gene regulation. I use Cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography and other methods to determine the molecular model of the complexes involved in the process.

Starting from 2019, I’m in charge of commissioning of our new electron microscope and solved our very first apoferritin structure. I’m appointed as coordinator of electron microscope facility since 2020.
