After obtaining a master’s degree in molecular and cellular life sciences from the Utrecht University, I continued in Utrecht to do a PhD in the lab of Frank Holstege.
During my PhD I used genome-wide techniques to study transcription regulation dynamics. In Tineke Lenstra’s lab I use microscopy-based techniques to study dynamics of transcription regulation in single cells at single molecule resolution.
