I have joined both the Lotje Zuur group and the Daniela Thommen group in August 2020, to focus on the translational research linked to clinical trials.

We aim to find biomarkers of response to immunotherapy and the mechanisms behind this response, for an improved prediction of the outcome and better treatment decision for cancer patients.

Work experience

2019-2020
as part of a Double Degree Program, I obtained a second Master by Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, Japan. There, my internship also focused on tumor immunology. I confirmed my passion about research on cancer immunotherapy, which brought me to the NKI.

2018-2020
I specialized in Immunology by Maastricht University, where I performed an internship in tumor immunology.

2014-2018
I obtained my University Degree in Biomedical Sciences by the University of Sevilla, Spain.
