I am a visiting PhD student in Prof. Benjamin Rowland’s lab, studying PRR12, a nuclear factor potentially involved in cohesin complex regulation. My PhD research, conducted in Prof. Giovanni Perini’s lab since 2023, focuses on PRR12’s role in Neuroocular syndrome (NOC1), a rare neurodevelopmental visual disorder. I have become particularly fascinated by 3D genome organization, chromatin looping, and cohesins, building on my earlier work on transcriptional regulation. I enjoy watching anime and playing video games, and I am particularly curious and enthusiastic about learning new things and doing science!
