Martina Färber

I joined the Akkari group for my 2nd master internship in March 2022.

For my PhD research, I aim to investigate the tumor microenvironment of glioblastoma with a focus on tumor associated macrophages. Ultimately, the goal is to find new therapeutic avenues to target this complex cell type and improve glioblastoma treatment outcomes.
