In June 2022, I joined the group of Daniel Peeper as an intern to finish my Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences master’s degree at Leiden University. Here, I focused on characterizing proteins involved in T cell-Tumor interactions to better understand immune resistance mechanisms. As of March 2023, I continued working on this project as a research assistant.

In September 2023, I started as a PhD student in the lab of Karin de Visser pursuing my interest in T cell-tumorinteractions. My project focuses on expanding the knowledge of the immunological synapse between CD8+ T cells and tumors, specifically in the context of immunosuppressive cells and their regulatory functions on this interaction.
