Work experience
I have completed my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2001 at the HLO in Utrecht and in 2005 I obtained my master degree in Chemistry at the university of Utrecht. After graduating from the HLO I started working as a research technician at the VUMC where I was involved in several research groups at the department of pathology. In 2005 I continued my career at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. I worked from 2005 till November 2008 in the group of Wim van Blitterwijk, from December 2008 till October 2024 in the group of Kees Jalink and from November 2024 till September 2025 at the BioImaging Facility in and now I hold a supportive position as biochemist in the group of Wout Oosterheert. I support the students, post-docs and PhD students in the group in any possible way and am involved in many of the running projects.
