I finished my MSc in Drug Design and Synthesis at VU University Amsterdam with a fascination for understanding, describing and predicting a healthy or dysfunctional situation of the human body at molecular level.

During my PhD, I am working on fragment-based lead discovery by analyzing large datasets that are obtained from X-ray crystallography assays. The aim is to streamline this workflow in the PDB-REDO suite, being part of an European collaboration. The example system used to set up this tool is the JBP1 protein, but other datasets that will come up will be also used.
