In March 2023, I joined the group of Daniela Thommen as a Postdoctoral researcher. Here, my project focuses on understanding the impact of the tumor microenvironment on CD8 T cell differentiation towards distinct states, functionality and responses to immunotherapy.

PhD diploma in Immunology from Institute Curie & University of Paris, France

During my PhD studies I focused on the analysis of CD8 T cell differentiation towards exhaustion in human cancers, in the team of Immune responses to Cancer of Institute Curie under the supervision of Dr. Sebastian Amigorena.

2016-2018
Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Interdisciplinary approaches in life sciences from the University of Paris, France

Within my master studies I performed a research internship at the Center for Human Immunology of Institute Pasteur on establishment of single-cell RNA sequencing pipelines for the analysis of immune cell populations.

2010-2016
Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Biology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece

During my bachelor studies I performed a research internship on analysis of microRNAs expression profiles in NSCLC. Moreover, I took part in the Erasmus placement program, through which I performed a 6-months internship in Institute Gustave Roussy in Paris, France.
