Catia Carconi

I am a medical doctor and medical oncology resident at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan. In September 2025, I joined the group of Emile Voest as a visiting researcher to gain hands-on experience in translational oncology and contribute to bridging the gap between laboratory discoveries and patient care.

Here, my project focuses on investigating the anti-tumor activity of novel immunotherapeutic strategies in colorectal cancer. Using patient-derived organoids and immune cell co-culture systems, I study tumor–immune interactions and evaluate the therapeutic potential of T cell engagers.
