In June 2025, I joined Karin de Visser group as a PhD student within the Adaptmet Doctoral Network. My project will delve into how the genetic makeup of breast tumors impacts the immune milieu within the pre-metastatic and metastatic niches. 

Previously, I explored the impact of metastatic triple-negative breast cancer on host metabolism at Salvador Aznar Benitah Lab (IRB Barcelona, Spain) and the role of lipid metabolism in unconventional T cells, such as intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes at Manuela Ferreira Lab (Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, University of Coimbra, Portugal).
