After I graduated as a medical doctor in 2018, I started my residency in medical oncology at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. After an initial period of clinical research, I started developing interest in translational research, mainly focusing on the identification of prognostic and predictive biomarkers as well as therapeutic targets in gastrointestinal malignancies.

2022
Started lab training in Massimo Dominici’s lab in Modena, working on cancer immunotherapy with CAR T cells for GD2 positive cancers in preclinical models.

2019-ongoing
Medical Oncology residency program at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. In this period, besides the clinical activity, I participated to international oncology congresses (ESMO, ASCO), also as poster presenter. In June 2023 I was a speaker at the immunology session at the Italian COMU post-ASCO congress.

2012-2018
Graduated as a medical doctor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy.
