In July 2024, I joined Valesca Retel’s group as a postdoctoral researcher. My research focuses on conducting health technology assessment (HTA) for (new) technologies or treatments in oncology to investigate the potential clinical and economic impact. My expertise lies in model-based cost-effectiveness analysis. I work on various projects, including molecular diagnostics, radiology, and innovative treatments. I have a particular interest in the evaluation of de-escalation strategies, aiming to optimize cancer care by minimizing unnecessary and potentially harmful interventions.
Before this, I completed my PhD at Amsterdam UMC, where I conducted an early HTA for circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) for tailored treatment decisions in oncology.
