Animal facility - Animal modeling facility

The Animal Modeling Facility (AMF) provides all services related to the generation of genetically engineered mice for academic researchers, with full-service covering the design and all hands-on steps. Additionally, we provide the services of modulating ES-cells for in vitro studies and produce viruses for somatic modeling.

The AMF keeps track of recent technological developments and tests their usefulness for improving model generation. We are currently setting up in vivo tissue electroporation in mice and are investigating if we can service the generation of genetically engineered rat models.
