First grant awarded to the Lindeboom lab

DEF LOGO NWO

We are extremely excited that we were awarded the NWO Open Competition M1 grant!

With this grant, we aim to better understand how the immune system can recognize disease by examining the interactions between T cell receptors (TCRs) and disease-associated antigens. These interactions are currently hard to study at scale. We will develop tools that allow high-throughput screening to identify TCR-antigen binding pairs, on which artificial intelligence models will be trained to predict and understand such interactions.
