Cancer Prevention

Our long-term goal is to understand how normal tissues resist tumour formation, and how this resistance can be enhanced. By deciphering the molecular mechanisms that govern tumour initiation, we map out avenues for surgery-free cancer prevention, particularly in individuals with elevated risk, such as carriers of BRCA1/2 or TP53 mutations.
