Serum Testosterone by Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry for Routine Clinical Diagnostics.

Abstract

In clinical diagnostics, samples containing low testosterone cannot be analyzed by random access immunoassays normally available at clinical laboratories. For these samples, sensitive and specific LC-MS/MS-based testosterone methods are required. An LC-MS/MS-based testosterone assay is described that was developed and validated for routine clinical application.
