I am currently a Research Associate in the group of Dr. Lotje Zuur at department of Tumor Biology and Immunology.

I conducted my PhD research on the signaling transduction of inflammatory factor macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) in the group of Prof. Jie Tang at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

After receiving PhD degree, I joined the group of Prof. Jacques Neefjes at NKI as a postdoctoral fellow. There I studied the molecular mechanism of doxorubicin. I participated in the discover of a novel anti-cancer mechanism of doxorubicin - chromatin damage, and investigated its relative contribution with DNA damage mechanism to the efficacy and side effects of doxorubicin.

In 2015, I joined the laboratory of MD PhD Lotje Zuur. One research line of mine is to develop a novel ATM inhibitor as radiosensitizer. Another research line is to conduct the translational research for neoadjuvant immune checkpoint blockade therapy in head and neck cancer (HNC).
