Wout Heerink

After a master in Technical Medicine, Wout Heerink received his PhD researching CT-guided percutaneous interventions and implementing robot-assisted ablation needle placement for liver tumors at the UMCG/RUG in 2019. As a post-doc at the NKI, he works on improving navigation techniques for complex surgical procedures. He is a member of the implementation team, where he is responsible for implementing these techniques clinical procedures.
