Vera Wesselink

In January 2025, I joined the group of Marjanka Schmidt as a postdoctoral fellow. I am working on two main projects, one related to colon cancer and one related to breast cancer. In the project related to colon cancer, I will investigate associations between lifestyle, tumour immune-characteristics and colon cancer recurrence (more info can be found here). In the project related to breast cancer, I will focus on the development of prediction models for the risk of a contralateral breast cancer.
