Vasso Arvaniti

I joined the group of Prof. Michiel Vermeulen in 2025 as a PhD student. I will be focusing on multi-omic approaches to explore gene regulation and context-dependent carcinogenesis in colorectal cancer.

Previously, after completing my BSc in Biology at the University of Athens (NKUA), I attended the MSc in Molecular Biomedicine co-organized by NKUA and the BSRC “Alexander Fleming”. For my MSc thesis, I worked in Dr. Vasiliki Koliaraki’s group focusing on aging-related changes of the mouse intestine and links to carcinogenesis.
