Torben van Zijp

In May 2025, I joined the groups of Myriam Chalabi and Lodewyk Wessels as a PhD student. My research focuss on the translational analysis of neoadjuvant immunotherapies in colorectal and pan-cancer trials. 

We aim to better understand the tumor microenvironment and identify biomarkers that can support the development of novel treatment strategies. To this end, we analyze various data modalities from pre- and post treatment samples including DNA sequencing and (spacial) transcriptions.
