Women who carry a BRCA1 mutation face a high risk of breast cancer. My project aims to prevent and intercept this cancer at its earliest stages. By imaging the first breast cancer cells, we follow tumorigenesis step by step as it develops. In addition, we want to understand how the immune system shapes this process and learn how to modulate it to our advantage.
