Steven Ketelaars

In September 2022, after my PhD studies, I joined the group of dr. Fijneman as a bioinformatician. Here, my main role is to identify and integrate a range of biomarkers in a predictive model to better stratify stage II and III colorectal cancer patients for treatment with adjuvant chemotherapy. Importantly, our approach includes complementing in-depth tumor profiling with the presence of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) as an important biomarker for disease recurrence.
