During my PhD at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, I developed and applied advanced quantitative proteomics and protein-protein interaction approaches to characterize synaptic receptor complexes and protein alterations in wild-type and Alzheimer’s disease models. I then continued as a postdoc at the Boston University, USA, where I led preclinical studies investigating RNA-binding proteins, RNA modifications, and tau pathology.
I am motivated by understanding how proteins shape cellular function and by supporting collaborative, well-organized research. At the NKI, I will bring my expertise in quantitative proteomics and cell biology to support Rik Lindeboom’s lab and advance its research in immunology and cancer.
