Dr. Simone Hanebaum is a Senior Project Manager. Currently, she is the Project Lead of STRONG AYA, a EU Horizon funded (2022-2027) project to establish an age-specific core outcome set (COS) for adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer and to build a new, interdisciplinary, multi-stakeholder European network to improve healthcare services, research and outcomes for AYAs with cancer. In addition to STRONG AYA, she has also managed an international federated data infrastructure project in rare cancers (BlueBerry). Simone’s professional interests include research strategy, data in healthcare and the use of AI; equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI); patient engagement; and data altruism. Originally from Canada, she holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge.
