Titia Sixma

Shun Hsiao Lee

I finished my PhD thesis in November 2017 at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry, Germany, where I gained my knowledge on X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM and biochemical characterization of DNA repair enzymes.

From April 2019 I joined Titia Sixma's lab as a Postdoc. My project is focused on the ubiquitin-regulated DNA repair. By combining structural and biochemical approaches, I hope to understand the molecular mechanisms of ubiquitin conjugation and its regulating roles in DNA damage repair.
