In August 2021, I joined the group of Flora van Leeuwen as a PhD student. My project focuses on developing accurate online support tools for treatment decision and care management of current and newly diagnosed Hodgkin Lymphoma (HL) patients by creating and evaluating different models that can be used to predict risks of death, recurrence and multiple adverse effects of different HL-treatment strategies over different time intervals.

Work experience

  • 2012-2016: Obtained my Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Applied Statistics from University of Tehran (UT), Tehran, Iran.
  • 2016-2019: Obtained my Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Biostatistics from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Tehran, Iran.
  • 2015-2018: During my education, I also worked as a Teaching Assistant (TA) at University of Tehran (UT), Tehran, Iran.
  • 2018-2021: I worked as a Data Scientist and Researcher at Non-Communicable Diseases Research Center (NCDRC), Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Tehran, Iran.
