In November 2021 I joined the group of Wilbert Zwart as a postdoc. My project aims to functionally interrogate the non-protein coding genome in colon cancer and gastric cancer. The project involves the integration of genomic, epigenomic and functional genomic approaches with computational biology. The final goal is to chart the impact of non-coding mutations on cancer progression, treatment resistance and patient outcome.
