In April 2025, I joined the group of Jacco van Rheenen and Sabine Linn as a MD PhD student. My main study focus is unraveling the influence of the menstrual cycle on breast cancer and different breast cancer treatments.

2015-2018 obtained a bachelor of science degree in Medicine from the University of Groningen
2018 within my bachelor’s degree I performed a research project at the lab of Jaimie Polson at the University of Sydney
2011-2014: obtained my Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Biomolecular Engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany
2014-2017: obtained my Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Biomolecular Engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany
2016-2017: within my Master’s studies, I performed a research internship at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in the lab of René Medema
