As a senior scientist, I am interested in uncovering new targetable vulnerabilities in KRAS-driven tumors.

Thanks to the support of KIKA, I am now focusing on NF1-associated sarcomas of children and young adults, with the objective of identifying novel combination therapies.

Work experience

2008-2013: obtained my PhD degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedicine and Biotechnology at the Autonoma University of Madrid, working at the CNIO in the lab of Mariano Barbacid.

2006-2007: worked as research assistant at the Regina Elena Cancer Institute.

2004-2006: obtained my Master Degree in Medical, Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology at the University of Rome La Sapienza with a research internship at the Regina Elena Cancer Institute.

2001-2004: obtained my bachelor degree in Biotechnology at the University of Rome La Sapienza.
