During my MSc, I developed a machine learning-based predictor of peptide sequence detectability in mass spectrometry for application to targeted proteomics strategies. Since then, I have performed proteome profiling on a large number of Mantle Cell Lymphoma biopsies and integrated this data with other omics available for the cohort. This has led to the identification of novel molecular subgroups for the disease, with biological, clinical, and potential treatment relevance.

In July 2025, I joined Rik Lindeboom's and Michiel Vermeulen’s labs to develop single cell proteomics pipelines and apply them to rare cancers. Using this technology, we hope to uncover insights on tumour heterogeneity.
