During my technical medicine masters I specialized in medical imaging and interventions. Going through my clinical rotations in the AMC, Meander MC, St. Antonius and NKI, I developed a special interest for the surgical field. I am passionate about the use of modern techniques to improve surgical outcome.
After two years of research on early detection of complications after endovascular aortic repair I returned to the NKI in 2017. Here in the NKI I work with researchers and surgeons on the development and implementation of image guided navigation during complex surgical procedures.
