Răzvan-Andrei Matișan

I’m a PhD candidate working at the Netherlands Cancer Institute and University of Amsterdam, in the Foundation Models for Oncology lab, supervised by Jonas Teuwen and Cees Snoek.

My AI research interests lie in-between computer vision, generative modeling, efficient training & inference of foundation models, as well as applications of AI in medicine.

Prior to joining the Foundation Models for Oncology Lab, I pursued a MSc in AI and a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering.
