Osman Akdag

I joined Uulke’s group as a clinical scientist responsible for MR imaging developments regarding MR-guided radiotherapy in the thoracic and abdominal region using the hybrid MRI-linear accelerator system. The MR imaging developments are meant to facilitate and improve adaptive radiotherapy treatments in tumor sites with larger motion amplitudes, mainly due to respiratory motion. In parallel, his work will also be focused on improving image contrast to improve the visualization of the treatment target and surrounding healthy organs.
