In October 2022, I joined the group of Daniela Thommen as a PhD student.

Here, I will use the lab’s ex vivo patient-derived tumor fragment (PDTF) platform in combination with various (spatial) single cell techniques to dissect the composition and spatial organization of immune activity in human cancer.

2021 - 2022
I performed a collaborative, 8-month internship in the lab of Vijay Kuchroo at Harvard Medical School and at the Klarman Cell Observatory at The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.

2020 - 2021
During my Master’s, I performed two research internships at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in the group of Ton Schumacher.

2019 - 2022

Obtained my research Master’s degree (MSc) in Oncology at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.

2016 - 2019

Obtained my Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Biomedical Sciences from Maastricht University.
