In October 2017 I joined Marjanka Schmidt’s group. Since then I work on several projects regarding ethical, legal and social issues (ELSI) of research with patient data and biosamples. See for example the ELSI Servicedesk. In December 2021 I started my PhD, which aims to enable responsible observational health research by investigating practical and responsible solutions for ethical, legal and societal issues. I do this part-time. The rest of the time I work as ELSI program officer for Health-RI, an organization that is building a national health research infrastructure for optimal access to knowledge, tools, facilities, health data and samples.
