In 2021, I obtained my master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences track Oncology at the University of Amsterdam. Within my studies, I performed multiple internships including one at the NKI in the group of Fred van Leeuwen in 2019-2020.
After my graduation, I worked in a CRO company using PDOs in cancer research. After one year, I decided to return to academia.
In January 2023 I joined the group of Fred van Leeuwen as a PhD student. Here, in collaboration with Heinz Jacobs group, I will focus on how the inactivation of methyltransferase DOT1L controls the cytotoxic activity of CD8 T-cells.
