Work Experience
1984-1990: obtained my Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Medical Biology at the Free University (VU) of Amsterdam.
In 1992, I joined the group of René Bernards as a technician.
My projects focus on identifying and studying resistance mechanisms that develop during cancer treatment with the aim to discover new powerful combination therapies.
