In January 2024, I joined the Peeper group as a PhD student. My project will focus on unravelling the mechanism of TWEAK/Fn14 signaling in order to ultimately identify pharmacological targets that stimulate this pathway in order to break tumor immune resistance.

Worked as a technician in pharmacological companies expanding my laboratories skills in relation to immunological assays.

2018-2020
Obtained my Master of Science degree (MSc) with a specialization in Immunology and Infectious diseases. First internship focusing on the effects of azithromycin derivatives on bacterial - AMC. Second internship on effects of oxygen concentration on naïve and memory CD8+ T cells (phenotype, metabolic profile) – Sanquin.

2015-2018
Obtained my Bachelor of Science degree (BSc.) with a specialization in Biomedical Science and Life Sciences from University College Roosevelt. Internship focused on identifying difference in B cell subsets between end-stage lung transplant patients and a healthy control group - St. Antonius Hospital in Nieuwegein.
