Postdoctoral Fellow

Phone Email Rene Bernards

I am a medical student at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam. I finished a research master in neuroscience studying glioblastoma and I interrupted the medical school to pursue a PhD at the Francis Crick Institute and  University College London with Charles Swanton. Here I studied how APOBEC3 drives intratumour heterogeneity in lung and breast cancer.

Currently I am a part-time postdoctoral fellow in the group of René Bernards. I am using various bioinformatics analysis methods to investigate how senescence can be leveraged as a cancer vulnerability.
