Maike Hentges is a Junior Project Lead working in EU-funded initiatives focused on Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) cancer. She currently contributes to the STRONG-AYA, PredictAYA and PanCare4AYA projects, which aim to improve care and quality of life for AYA cancer patients and survivors across Europe. Her work sits at the intersection of research and policy, with a personal interest in women’s health, gender equality, and sexual and reproductive health and rights. She is a member of Germany’s Global Health Hub Community on Women’s Health, contributing to research and policy in these fields.

Maike holds a BSc in European Public Health from Maastricht University and a Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health from Karolinska Institutet. Previously, she worked as a Research Consultant in EU Digital Health projects supporting Member State capacity-building for the European Health Data Space and assessing digital health maturity.
