I pursued my PhD in the Biophotonics@Tyndall group in Cork, Ireland where I developed biomedical imaging systems using micro-image sensors. Currently I am employed as a postdoc in the Netherlands Cancer Institute where I work on translating optical diagnostic technologies to early patient care. I am passionate about photonics as the key enabling technology to develop novel tools and medical devices
